1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using onceigrew.com (“the Service”), operated by Once I Grew (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Once I Grew provides a platform for creating personalized children’s storybooks using artificial intelligence. Users provide information about their child and select story options. We generate a custom story and illustrations, which can be purchased as a digital ebook or printed hardcover book.
3. User Content & Photos
You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading photos, you grant us a limited license to use them solely for the purpose of creating your personalized book. We do not sell, share, or use your photos for any other purpose. Photos are processed by third-party AI services to generate illustrations and are deleted from our systems after your order is fulfilled.
4. AI-Generated Content
Stories and illustrations are generated using third-party AI models. While we strive for high-quality, age-appropriate content, AI-generated material may occasionally contain imperfections. You will have the opportunity to review your book before purchase. Once purchased, you receive a non-exclusive, personal license to the generated content in your book.
5. Orders, Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change. Payment is processed securely via third-party payment processors. Digital ebooks are delivered electronically after generation. Printed hardcover books are produced and shipped by our third-party printing partner. Delivery times vary by location.
6. Refunds
Digital ebooks are non-refundable once delivered. For printed books, if your order arrives damaged or with a printing defect, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund. We cannot offer refunds for dissatisfaction with AI-generated content that was previewed before purchase.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to create content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for children. We reserve the right to refuse service and cancel orders at our discretion.
8. Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party providers for AI content generation, payment processing, printing, and shipping. We are not responsible for the performance or policies of these third-party services, though we select our partners carefully to ensure quality and reliability.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
